Things to do

Our Taipei Favorites

Wander a night market

Spend an evening at Raohe or Shilin Night Market. Go hungry, wander around, and try a little of everything.

Start with Taiwanese breakfast

Head to Fu Hang Soy Milk for a Taiwanese breakfast before a day of exploring. If the line is too long there is Yong He Soy Milk as well. But you can’t go wrong with any Taiwanese breakfast place.

Shop and wander around Zhong Shan

Spend an afternoon exploring Zhongshan, one of Taipei’s best neighborhoods for independent boutiques, design shops, and cafés. Wander through the side streets and smaller lanes, where you’ll find everything from local fashion and lifestyle stores to vintage shops and hidden coffee spots.

Start around Zhongshan MRT Station and make your way toward Chifeng Street, stopping for a coffee or snack along the way.

Explore the National Palace Museum

Spend an afternoon exploring Chinese art and history at the National Palace Museum (fancy some jade cabbage?), with collections of jade carvings, ceramics, paintings, and more.

Channel your inner pop star at KTV

Get a group together, pick your favorite songs, and spend the evening singing at a KTV lounge. We love SingGo and ONCOR!
